Ladies Style Guide
IN ADDITION TO SEVERAL SELF-EXPLANATORY STYLES OF CLOTHING SUCH AS ATHLETIC, LOUNGEWEAR AND PAJAMAS, WE USE THE FOLLOWING TERMS TO EXPLAIN OUR PRODUCT CATEGORIES:
Short Sleeve: Sleeveless to 1/2 sleeve
Long Sleeve: 3/4 sleeve or longer
T-Shirts: Traditional knit t-shirt fabric typically in cotton, polyester, and rayon blends, and without embellishments or details. While most of these items are solid in color some have prints, front pockets, or small embroidered insignia (such as the Lacoste alligator).
Note: These shirts would be a great option for high quality eco-friendly t-shirt blanks for printing!
Knit Tops: Tops with a traditional t-shirt fabric, but with some additional embellishment such as puff sleeves, lace back, or side ties.
Blouses: Most blouses would be appropriate to wear in a business or business casual setting. Many are made from printed polyester chiffon or polyester knit fabrics, both of which drape very well. They are not overly embellished or ornately structured.
Chinos / Chino Shorts: Khakis, but including other colors (like navy, brown, or olive) and even a few prints.
Fashion Casual Pants:/Shorts: Loose-fitting in prints or finer fabrics like linen, silk, or wool. Often with a paper bag waist construction.
Ponte Knit Pants: Heavier weight knit, sometimes referred to as “scuba.” Thicker than a legging, but often a pull-on style.
Classic: Fun styles for a more mature customer.
Examples: Structured jacket in a tapestry fabric, boat-neck medium-weight knit top (not too thin, tight or oversized), well-tailored casual dress in an abstract floral print.

Pairs Well With:Collared Shirts, Polo Shirts, Capris, Bermuda Shorts, Chinos, Scarves
Fashion: Contemporary-style clothing with mass-market appeal.
Examples:Chiffon floral sleeveless top, v-neck tissue t-shirt, oversized sweater. Key Brands: Loft, Banana Republic, Style & Co

Preppy: Crisp tailoring and prints or colors.
Examples:Novelty print collared rayon shirt, Red fit-and-flair dress, Striped skirt with pleats

Edgy: Black, bold prints, straps, and sparkle!
Examples: Black strappy dress, galaxy print bustier top, Cami with fishnet overlay

Boho: Hippie, Cottage Core, and Bohemian styles, often with micro-florals, lace, and organic prints and colors.
Examples: Micro floral tank with lace back, tiered midi skirt, denim pinafore dress
